I qualified in holistic massage in my mid 20’s having returned to Devon from living in London where I studied musical theatre and dance.Â
I furthered my dance education during this time by qualifying as a registered teacher for the Royal Academy of Dance and have gone on to teach a variety of dance styles to people of all ages and abilities. Over the last ten years I have used this experience in the creation of a successful dance school in Wellington, Somerset.Â
I have pursued a dual career enjoying the variety it offers and seeing the commonality between how people move when they are dancing and the benefit they can get from massage treatment, to help them move more freely and without tension or pain.Â
Having completed a diploma in holistic massage I worked at a yoga retreat in North Devon where I was trained in signature deep tissue aromatherapy massage.Â
In my early 30’s I relocated to Somerset and settled in Wellington where I live happily now. I started working with Steve Woods at the Orchard Clinic over a decade ago and I have found massage to be a good complement to Osteopathic treatment. We have worked well together over the years whilst I have managed to establish my own client base in that time.Â
In recent years I have enjoyed joining the healing fields of various festivals including Glastonbury offering massage treatments to members of the publicÂ
I feel very lucky to have a fulfilling work-life balance doing things that I love!
