Muscles, Bones and Balance Class
Build Strength, Increase Bone Density, Improve Balance and Feel Great!
A 6 week clinically-led strength and balance program designed for your long-term health and wellbeing.
Science tells us that maintaining bone density, strong muscles and good balance is absolutely key to a happy and healthy life. But knowing what to do, and doing it safely, is the challenge.
The Benefits:
- Boost Bone Health: Targeted impact and resistance training proven to support bone density (often improving DXA scan results over time).
- Fall Prevention: Dedicated balance exercises to keep you steady on your feet and maintain your independence.
- Build muscle: Targeted and controlled weight training helps you maintain muscle mass, supporting your joints and protecting your spine.
- Supervised Safety: Every movement is watched by a qualified clinician who understands your medical history.
- Social Support: Join a community of like-minded people facing the same challenges as you.
Strength: If you’ve noticed you're not as strong or flexible as you used to be, this class is for you.
Bone density: Osteoporosis is a leading cause of immobility, fractures and mortality. Our class is based on clinical evidence that makes your bones stronger
Balance: Feeling unsteady on your feet or recovering from vertigo? Studies have shown regular balance classes improve your balance, keeping you on your feet and moving with confidence

How do I join?
Safety is our absolute number one priority, that’s why all our class members attend a pre-class assessment in clinic, before attending their first class.
During the pre-class assessment your therapist will take a thorough case history and run through a series of balance and strength tests, to ensure you are joining the right class for you.
