Jane Robertson

Osteopath
Jane Robertson graduated with a Masters from the European School of Osteopathy in Kent. Jane was born and brought up in Kent and had contact with the Osteopathy schools there from a young age. She was fascinated by human movement and vowed to one day become an Osteopath.
Jane grew up in a rural family with a deep compassion for the countryside and species that inhabited the wilds around her. This lead her to study Environmental Science and spend 15 years working as an Ecologist in the South East. After establishing her family, and becoming a mother of 2 happy children, Jane re-found Osteopathy.
Years of driving, deskwork and daily deadlines had caught up with her and having the luxury of a few years off to be still and be a mother led to Jane’s mid-life ‘re-think’. She decided it was time to apply the holistic principles of good health that she had applied to the environment to her family and herself, and when her youngest enrolled at school, so did she, and she has never looked back.
Jane’s style as an Osteopath is calm, considered and compassionate. Life experience has taught her understanding, this backed up with the 4 years of taught clinical knowledge makes her a strong health professional who always has time for her patients.
Jane enjoys treating babies, the elderly, and everyone in between using a variety of non-invasive mobilisation techniques such as articulations, manipulations, stretching, massage, cranial or visceral osteopathy, depending on the individual need. Jane is a big picture thinker, considering the whole and treating holistically to address underlying causes as well as presenting problems. Treatment plans are always discussed, and experience has taught Jane that communication and partnerships are what makes Osteopathy successful.
