Courtney Brown
Courtney Brown
Courtney graduated from the University of the West of England with a BSc (Hons) in Sports Rehabilitation and began developing her clinical expertise early in her studies by working in a private practice setting. This experience provided her with valuable exposure to patient assessment, manual therapy techniques, and musculoskeletal rehabilitation.
Following graduation, Courtney has continued to advance her clinical skills through ongoing professional development and certification in a range of evidence-based treatment modalities, including medical dry needling, myofascial cupping therapy, kinesiology taping, and neuromuscular re-education. Her approach is centred around functional rehabilitation and movement optimisation, enabling patients to recover safely, restore mobility, and prevent further injury.
Courtney has gained experience in high-performance environments through her volunteer work and work experience with the Ministry of Defence, Bath Rugby, and Exeter Chiefs, where she contributed to the assessment and rehabilitation of athletes operating at elite levels. These roles enhanced her understanding of complex injury management and performance-led recovery strategies. While she values her time in these specialist settings, Courtney’s true passion lies in working within clinical practice, supporting individuals of all ages and activity levels to reduce pain, improve function, and enhance their quality of life.
Outside of the clinic, Courtney leads an active lifestyle and has completed a sprint triathlon. She enjoys running, exploring the countryside, Italian cuisine, and spending time with friends and family.
