Chi

Massage Therapist

Chi is a passionate massage therapist with a genuine intention to help anyone in need. She qualified with a Diploma of Remedial Massage (Equivalent to Level 3 in UK) from the
Southern Cross Education Institute in Melbourne Australia. She was always fascinated with the wonderfully relaxed feeling in her body after receiving a massage when she was working in a stressful office environment in Osaka, Japan. This inspired her to pursue a career that would enable her to improve others’ wellbeing and mindfulness. She moved to Australia from Japan in 2015, leaving the stresses of a city lifestyle behind enabling her to become more active in her own life. This furthered her passion to train as a massage therapist as she realised how beneficial it could be to support a healthy lifestyle generally, as well as trying to prevent injuries from occurring in the first place.

This passion to help people both physically and emotionally inspired her study to be a remedial massage therapist. Since then, it has been an absolute pleasure to see the calm and relaxed smiles of clients after treatment, which continues to encourage her professionally as a massage therapist. From working in different clinics and therapy settings in Australia and the UK as a remedial massage therapist, Chi has seen diverse clients with many ailments that have required various treatment approaches. Her previous work experience gives her the understanding to work with clients so as to help them focus on achieving their goals. She enjoys forming a therapeutic relationship with the client trying to understand what is causing their stress and muscle tension so that she can try to provide relief both physically and mentally. Her aim in treatment is to improve clients’ health and wellbeing as best as she can, guiding them to the best version of themselves with a warm, polite and understanding manner.
