- Spinal Problems : Slipped discs, back pain, sciatica, stiff or painful neck and referred arm and leg pain. Also headaches and migraines can be treated.
- Joint Problems : Arthritis, pain/swelling/stiffness in joints such as shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees and ankles.
- Injuries : Injuries to muscles, ligaments, tendons (including ‘tennis elbow’), cartilage problems, sprained ankles and dislocations.
- Fractures : Treatment may be given during the healing process or to restore function once the bones have healed.
- Chest Complaints : Pneumonia, cystic fibrosis, bronchitis, bronchiectasis, asthma.
- Obstetrics : Ante and post-natal exercise and advice, pregnancy back ache.
These are normally on a weekly basis and occasionally twice weekly if needed. Your Physiotherapist will give some idea at the onset. For those with more long-term conditions, maintenance treatment may be suggested for the future to maintain improvement.
