James Warner

Physiotherapist

MSc Physiotherapy, BSc (Hons) Sport & Exercise Science

James is a forward-thinking musculoskeletal physiotherapist with a clinical focus on functional recovery and a special interest in tendon rehabilitation. With a background in sport and exercise science, specialising in advanced biomechanical analysis and exercise physiology, James brings a performance-informed perspective to rehab, combining scientific insight and clinical reasoning to guide effective, personalised care.

He integrates hands-on therapy with structured, progressive treatment tailored to the individual, grounded in current research and practical goals. Every session builds on assessment, whether it’s identifying the root cause or tracking progress, to keep rehab relevant, purposeful, and responsive to change.

James supports a wide range of individuals, from active professionals and recreational athletes to older adults recovering function after injury or surgery. He focuses on strategies that reflect the physical demands of sport, work, and everyday life. He is also trained in sports taping, which he uses selectively as part of performance-focused care and injury support.

Outside the clinic, James stays active through strength training and tennis, giving him first-hand insight into the demands of training, recovery, and long-term physical health.

His skills as a clinician include:

  • Tendon rehabilitation and functional loading
  • Movement analysis for targeted intervention
  • Strength-based training and injury prevention
  • Manual therapy and soft tissue techniques
