Tom graduated from the London School of Osteopathy after completing a five year degree. Since graduating Tom has completed additional training in medical acupuncture/dry needling, applied biomechanics and golf specific screening and treatment. He is also qualified in sports massage.
Toms takes a structural approach to treatment. He believes in supporting and enabling the body’s natural healing mechanisms and uses manual therapy, movement and exercises to encourage pain relief and help patients return to optimal pain free function.
Before training as an Osteopath Tom worked in enhancing human performance with various professional athletes and later as a director for training and rehabilitation for multiple gym sites across the UK and middle east. He utilises these experiences and knowledge to help guide patients back to health, comfort and optimal performance.
Tom also spent time working with one the UK’s leading performing arts colleges as has a particular interest in the treatment of performing arts related injuries.
Tom empowers his patients with the correct knowledge, exercises and lifestyle changes that will help to facilitate their recovery and reduce the risk of injury and reoccurrence. Tom uses a variety of techniques including soft tissue work, spinal manipulation, medical acupuncture/dry needling, exercise rehabilitation and various taping methods.
