Scott Foster
Registered Physiotherapist
BSc Hons Physiotherapy
After a ruptured Achillies tendon during athletics training inspired his healthcare pathway, Scott graduated as a physiotherapist in 2014 after studying in Plymouth University. He has remained working in Devon in the NHS in various roles, including neurological rehabilitation, peri-operative optimisation and managing musculoskeletal injuries.
Working in the NHS, Scott has experience in pre-operative optimisation and post-operative recovery, neurological rehabilitation and diagnosis and management of musculoskeletal pathologies.
Having a keen interest in powerlifting and American Football, Scott has plenty of first-hand experience of managing injuries and the recovery process. From this, he understands that whilst exercises are important, they can be boring; therefore, combining a hands-on approach with education is key for effective progress.
Being an energetic and restless soul, Scott is continuously broadening his horizons by learning new skillsets and attending courses, to provide optimal evidence-based care, and as time goes on expanding services available.
His skills include
